Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) program in the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine is an interdisciplinary training program that provides leadership training in adolescent health to graduate and postgraduate students within five core disciplines, representing medicine, nursing, nutrition, psychology, and social work. The Program Administrator is responsible for overseeing operational functions for department-specific programs. The Program Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the LEAH program, including coordinating weekly lectures; recruiting, onboarding, and supporting LEAH trainees; managing LEAH clinic flow; coordinating faculty involvement in LEAH activities; promoting the LEAH program to community partners; and reporting, evaluation and fiscal management activities. The Program Administrator will also be responsible for coordinating our annual LEAH conference, including coordination with community partners and youth advisors.
Required:
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:
- 5+ years of experience managing medium to large programs and teams in a healthcare or academic settings. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- The ability to interact with the different group of stakeholders, including faculty, staff, providers, patients and families, community partners and leaders in the field.
- Experience coordinating events.
- Experience with fiscal management.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of adolescent and young adult development and behavior.
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
