The Role
• Architect, design, and implement robotic applications and infrastructure for a leading e-commerce platform.
• Influence team strategy and contribute to the long-term vision and roadmap for scalable robotic systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across science and operations teams to iterate on design and implementation.
• Maintain high standards through code reviews, designing for fault tolerance, and creating mechanisms for continuous improvement.
• Prototype and test concepts and features using simulation, emulators, and live robotic equipment.
• Mentor other engineers on the team.
What You'll Need
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience in at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or in leading an engineering team.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Experience architecting or operating solutions built on cloud service providers.
