For our client, we are seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.
This role will focus on building secure, scalable cloud software tools that support advanced applications in a mission-driven environment. You will design and integrate APIs, automate deployment workflows, and help ensure the reliability and security of cloud-based systems. This position also partners closely with security and cross-functional teams to deliver resilient solutions that meet technical standards and operational needs.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $114,600 – $252,100 annually
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure software tools for a cloud environment
- Design software subsystems adhering to technical standards
- Create and integrate custom APIs for AI/ML applications
- Deploy and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment
- Ensure system health through monitoring and logging
- Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities
- Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- DoD 8570.01-M / DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification
- 3-5+ years of software development experience
- Experience in collaborative, cross-functional team environments
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or Bash
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
- Knowledge of CI/CD principles, GCP networking, and secure coding practices
