The Role
- Lead high-stakes consulting engagements from discovery through production, often on complex projects.
- Drive architecture and software design discussions, balancing technology choices with project deadlines.
- Collaborate on systems involving the full ML lifecycle, from data ingestion to model deployment and monitoring.
- Generate innovative solutions for technical and non-technical challenges in partnership with teams and clients.
- Mentor colleagues, lead workshops, and contribute to the company's culture and hiring processes.
- Manage high-level project roadmaps and maintain relationships with client technical leaders.
What You'll Need
- 7+ years of demonstrated success in diverse software development projects, acting as a go-to leader.
- Proven ability to build high-quality, maintainable software collaboratively and incrementally.
- Experience writing production-quality code in various languages/frameworks (Java, C#/.NET, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Go, Ruby, Scala, R, SQL).
- Proficiency in leveraging AI-assistive development tools and integrating AI/ML-powered features into products.
- Strong understanding of context-appropriate automated testing and ability to debug/refactor existing code.
- Expertise in remedying architecture-level concerns such as scalability, security, reliability, and performance.
