The Role
- Join a cross-functional Scrum team to build mission-focused software in an Agile DevSecOps environment.
- Contribute to full-stack features, from design and development to testing and integration across front-end and back-end services.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Support DevSecOps workflows by utilizing Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.
- Automate testing by creating unit and integration tests, as well as simple scripts to enhance quality and repeatability.
- Assist senior engineers in modernizing legacy components and migrating to contemporary stacks and microservices.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of experience OR a Master's degree (additional 4 years of experience considered in lieu of degree).
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required.
- Coursework or hands-on experience in Java (Spring/Spring Boot), Python (FastAPI or Flask), or JavaScript/TypeScript (React/Angular).
- Foundational understanding of REST/JSON, basic Git usage, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and Docker.
- Experience or coursework with AWS services (EC2, S3) and database technologies like PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or DocumentDB.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or Pytest.
