Job Description
We are looking for an experienced
PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in Oracle database development, SQL, data processing, and performance tuning. The candidate will be responsible for developing database solutions, supporting application integrations, and troubleshooting production issues in an enterprise environment.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL Development.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and complex queries.
- Experience with Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers, Cursors, and Views.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database design, data modeling, and data integrity.
- Experience with SQL/PLSQL performance tuning and query optimization.
- Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and data validation.
- Good knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c/19c or later.
- Experience with Unix/Linux and shell scripting is preferred.
- Experience with Git, Jira, and Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with large-volume data and complex database environments.
- Knowledge of database security, access controls, and transaction management.
- Experience supporting development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain complex PL/SQL programs and database objects.
- Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database processes.
- Perform database performance tuning and resolve SQL performance issues.
- Support data migration, integration, and reconciliation activities.
- Troubleshoot application and database issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Work closely with developers, QA, BA, and DBA teams.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and production support.
- Prepare technical documentation and follow established development standards.
- Support application releases and database deployment activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve database performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), or other ETL tools.
- Knowledge of Oracle RAC, partitioning, and large-volume databases.
- Experience with cloud or enterprise database environments.
- Experience working with batch processing and scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON/XML, and application integration is a plus.
