About The Role
The Program Manager drives cross-functional execution across cloud infrastructure and SaaS platform initiatives, coordinating engineering, product, security, data, and customer-facing teams from planning through launch.
This role matters because reliable delivery depends on clear ownership, disciplined planning, and fast risk resolution. The program manager will turn complex technical roadmaps into executable plans, measurable milestones, and predictable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain integrated program plans in Jira, including milestones, dependencies, resourcing, risks, and launch criteria
- Coordinate engineering, product, security, SRE, and data teams through software releases, platform migrations, and infrastructure initiatives
- Run operating cadences including standups, roadmap reviews, risk reviews, and executive status updates
- Track delivery metrics such as schedule variance, scope changes, incident readiness, and dependency health using Jira, Confluence, and BI dashboards
- Identify blockers and cross-team dependencies early, assign owners, and drive issues through resolution
- Create program documentation, decision logs, release plans, and post-launch retrospectives that improve execution quality
- Partner with technical leads to define acceptance criteria, rollout plans, rollback procedures, and operational readiness requirements
What We Are Looking For
- 3-8 years of program management, technical project management, or engineering operations experience in a technology environment
- Experience delivering cloud infrastructure, SaaS, data platform, cybersecurity, or other technically complex programs
- Strong working knowledge of Agile and hybrid delivery methods, with hands-on experience using Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar tools
- Ability to understand technical architecture, APIs, CI/CD workflows, cloud services, and software development life cycles without serving as the primary engineer
- Demonstrated success managing concurrent initiatives, communicating tradeoffs, and driving decisions across teams without direct authority
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including concise executive reporting and detailed technical documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; Bonus: experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, SQL, incident management, compliance programs, or formal PMP and Scrum certifications
