Description/Job Summary
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., overtime as needed.
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Job Summary: This position will be responsible for writing and updating programs using RPG (RPG III, RPG IV, ILE, Free Format, Control Language (CL), and SQL. Knowledge in Oracle Database 19c and up, PL/SQL Developer, SQL, Crystal Reports a plus. Perform OS updates, user access management, backups, and performance monitoring on IBM i Power Systems. Process Electronic Data interchange (EDI), API’s and database interactions via DB2, plus troubleshoot job scheduling and runtime errors. Gather business requirements from users and write technical specifications.
Basic Qualifications
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work history.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with IBM iSeries / AS400 platform and RPG programming.
- Must have proficiency in SQL, DB2, CL programming, report writers and change management tools (e.g. Aldon, Turnover)
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must read, speak, write and understand the English language fluently.
