About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Python Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of cloud-native capabilities within our SaaS platform. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining reliable and scalable Python-based backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend software development, particularly within SaaS or cloud environments, and will be excited about working on cutting-edge AI capabilities such as generative AI, intelligent agents, and retrieval-augmented generation. The role offers opportunities to work on innovative projects, including integrating internal and external services, developing containerized applications for deployment in Kubernetes on AWS, and supporting scalable, resilient, and secure cloud applications. Collaboration with product managers, architects, and engineering teams will be key to delivering customer-facing features and advancing AI-enabled product capabilities.
Qualifications
- Three or more years of professional software development experience
- Strong Python development skills, including experience with production backend services and APIs
- Proficiency with modern Python frameworks, preferably FastAPI
- Solid understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, maintainable code, and automated testing (pytest or unittest)
- Experience developing and supporting cloud-based or multi-tenant SaaS applications
- Experience designing REST APIs, service integrations, and reusable backend components
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application development
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native deployment environments
- Experience working with AWS services such as EKS, S3, IAM, Lambda, and CloudWatch
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control, monitoring, logging, and production support
- Understanding of application scalability, resilience, security, and observability
- Experience with other object-oriented languages such as Java, C#, or C++ is beneficial
- Preferred: Exposure to generative AI applications, LLMs, AI agents, RAG, vector search, and managed AI platforms like Amazon Bedrock
- Familiarity with MLOps, infrastructure as code, or CI/CD automation

- Support services throughout their lifecycle, from initial design to production operations
- Contribute to AI-enabled product features, including generative AI, intelligent agents, and tool integrations based on customer and product needs
