Job Overview:
- Senior Data Analyst responsible for building scalable Power BI solutions to analyze duplicate encounter data and deliver actionable insights.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to design data models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks supporting data governance and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions with HIM, data governance, and operations teams.
- Analyze data structure and quality, specifically focusing on duplicate encounter extracts.
- Design and build Power BI data models capable of handling large datasets efficiently.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to identify duplicate patterns, encounter groupings, frequency, and severity indicators.
- Implement dynamic filters including facility, date ranges, encounter types, and risk levels.
- Build automated data refresh processes and validation logic to ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to iterate and refine dashboards for usability and insights.
- Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Deliverables:
- Requirements documentation and dashboard wireframes.
- Power BI data model and transformation logic.
- Duplicate Encounter Identification dashboard.
- Data dictionary and process documentation.
- Knowledge transfer sessions for internal staff.
Project Milestones:
- Week 1 3: Requirements gathering and data review.
- Week 4 8: Data modeling and initial dashboard development.
- Week 9 10: Stakeholder review and refinement.
- Week 11 12: Final dashboard delivery and documentation.
Skills And Expertise:
- Strong experience with Power BI data modeling and dashboard development.
- Expertise in handling large datasets and optimizing performance.
- Strong data analysis and data quality assessment skills.
- Experience with data governance and healthcare data (preferred).
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience working in data analysis and reporting roles, preferably in healthcare or enterprise environments.
