About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineering Lead to drive the successful delivery of complex engineering projects. This role focuses on strategic planning, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong emphasis on customer support and system delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders
- Develop and execute project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Lead RFI/RFP responses, including financial estimates, SOW, compliance matrices, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
- Monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams
- Prepare and present project status updates to stakeholders
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles
- Proven experience delivering complex engineering projects successfully
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in risk management and problem-solving
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
- Strong technical expertise in an engineering discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in aerospace systems development programs
- Knowledge of vapor cycle refrigerant systems
- Experience with earned value management (EVM)
- PMP certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Understanding of requirements verification & validation (V&V) processes
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools
