About The Role
The Program Manager will coordinate complex initiatives across platform engineering, infrastructure, security, and product teams. The role will drive execution for cloud infrastructure programs involving Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD, observability, and internal developer platforms.
This role matters because reliable infrastructure depends on disciplined coordination across technical teams. The program manager will turn strategy into executable plans, surface dependencies and risks early, and ensure major platform improvements reach production with measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end delivery of cross-functional infrastructure programs, including scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and launch criteria
- Build and maintain program plans in Jira, Linear, or similar tools; track owners, critical paths, and deliverables across engineering teams
- Coordinate releases and migration programs involving AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling
- Establish operating cadences including technical reviews, dependency reviews, status reporting, and executive readouts
- Partner with engineering leads to define KPIs for reliability, deployment frequency, incident reduction, platform adoption, and delivery predictability
- Identify blockers across platform, security, SRE, and product teams; drive decisions and escalate unresolved risks with clear recommendations
- Create program documentation, operating procedures, architecture decision records, and post-launch reviews in Confluence, Notion, or equivalent tools
What We Are Looking For
- 3-8 years of program, technical project, or engineering operations management experience in a technology environment
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional programs involving cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, SRE, DevOps, or security engineering
- Working knowledge of AWS or a comparable cloud platform, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and observability concepts
- Strong command of program planning, dependency management, risk tracking, executive reporting, and change management
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Linear, Asana, Confluence, Notion, or comparable planning and documentation tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate technical constraints into clear decisions and business impact
- Bonus: Experience with software delivery metrics, SOC 2 or compliance programs, enterprise migrations, Python or SQL, and a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field
