Data Entry Processor at DefineFast Media
Location: Remote - United States
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: $40,000-$50,000 per year
About The Role
DefineFast Media is hiring a Data Entry Processor to support accurate entry, review, and maintenance of structured business records. The role is fully remote within the United States and is designed for someone who values accurate work, clear documentation, and dependable follow-through.
Remote work requires dependable self-management. You will be expected to keep priorities organized, communicate blockers promptly, and use shared systems in a way that makes progress and ownership easy to see.
Work will be organized around defined priorities and documented procedures. When a record, request, or result does not match expectations, the right response is to verify the available information, note the difference, and use the appropriate escalation path rather than forcing a conclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow naming, coding, and documentation standards when creating or updating records.
- Complete assigned batches on schedule while protecting accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support routine file organization, document preparation, and administrative record maintenance.
- Protect sensitive business and customer information in accordance with established handling requirements.
- Enter assigned information into approved systems and spreadsheets with consistent accuracy.
- Compare entered information with source material and correct routine errors using documented procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and a consistent approach to checking work before submission.
- Clear written communication and willingness to ask focused questions when source information is unclear.
- Reliable time management in a remote environment with clearly assigned priorities.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and maintain clean records across repeated tasks.
- Comfort learning new data-entry systems and updated process requirements.
Good judgment includes knowing when an issue is routine, when information is missing, and when a question should be escalated rather than guessed.
