About The Role
The Senior Specialist, Full Stack Engineer position at L3Harris Technologies offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of defense technology. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of six years of relevant experience; a graduate degree with at least four years of experience; or a minimum of ten years of experience in lieu of a degree. Candidates should demonstrate a strong background in full-stack development, with proficiency in programming languages such as C# .NET, Python, and Angular. Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, API development, and secure coding practices is essential. Additionally, familiarity with DevOps practices, containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, and experience working in secure, distributed, high-availability systems are highly desirable.
Candidates must also have the ability and eligibility to obtain and maintain a National Security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to continuous learning are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate effectively with globally distributed, cross-functional Agile teams, engaging with product managers, stakeholders, and team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues across various components of the technology stack.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and system testing, to ensure software reliability and security.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and cybersecurity protocols to continually enhance development processes and team knowledge.
- Document technical solutions and create end-user manuals as needed to facilitate understanding and usability.
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend services, APIs, and user interfaces, emphasizing usability, performance, and security.
- Optimize database schemas, queries, and data migration procedures within PostgreSQL environments.
- Engage in technical research to innovate and implement new features aligned with industry standards and mission requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous integration/delivery pipelines to maintain high-quality standards.
