For our client, we are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will lead DevOps efforts across core platform and AI initiatives, helping strengthen how cloud systems are built, deployed, and operated.
The position will focus on improving CI/CD reliability, automation, and secure release practices while supporting scalable infrastructure in Azure.
You will partner closely with engineering and data teams to keep AI, machine learning, and data workloads running smoothly and to advance operational excellence through metrics-driven execution.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Lead DevOps initiatives, focusing on core platform and AI projects
- Enhance and manage CI/CD pipelines with integrated security features
- Implement automation for cloud deployments, ensuring safe rollbacks and auto-scaling
- Administer infrastructure as code using Terraform and Azure CLI for ad-hoc tasks
- Ensure the reliable operation of AI, machine learning, and data workloads
Qualifications
- 5+ years in DevOps or platform engineering roles with demonstrated leadership experience
- Extensive knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools, especially in Azure ecosystems
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and experience with Azure CLI
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation purposes
- Experience managing cloud resources, particularly with Azure services such as API Management and Elasticsearch
