For our client, we are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.
This role will guide manufacturing-focused technical programs across contract manufacturing partners, with an emphasis on new product introduction, production readiness, and sustaining support.
The position will serve as a key technical leader for resolving complex production issues, improving yield, and ensuring manufacturers are prepared for scalable high-volume output.
You will partner closely with engineering teams and external manufacturing partners to drive decisions that strengthen quality, readiness, and operational performance.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $250,253 – $305,864 annually
Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing operations at contract manufacturers
- Prepare contract manufacturers for pre-production
- Act as the primary technical authority for production issues
- Guide a cross-functional engineering team through NPI and sustaining phases
- Assess technical readiness of manufacturers for high-volume production
- Drive process design and yield improvement decisions
- Lead deep-dive investigations for critical production issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
- 7 years in product, process, or manufacturing engineering, or technical program management in hardware/optics
- 5 years leading new product introduction (NPI) from development to production
- 5 years of hands-on root cause analysis experience in a manufacturing setting
- 3 years working with contract manufacturers on process qualification or production ramp activities
