About the Opportunity:

The SOFTWARE ENGINEER is responsible for developing scalable, high-performance, and fault-tolerant software products with automated failover capabilities. This role involves designing systems that enable efficient troubleshooting and performance optimization. The engineer participates in the full software development lifecycle, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and contributes to solution design and deployment automation. The position supports cloud-based transaction-processing solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and various programming tools and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop software products that perform well under scale and have high availability.
• Create systems that facilitate root cause analysis and performance bottleneck identification.
• Employ service-oriented architecture and REST services to automate product deployment.
• Participate in scrum activities including daily stand-ups, iteration planning, and story grooming.
• Provide lifecycle ownership of software products and technologies.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to develop technical requirements.
• Contribute innovative ideas and work with cross-functional teams to enhance software systems.
• Use technologies such as Bash, SQL, and Groovy to design secure and robust platforms.
• Develop AWS cloud-based transaction-processing solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Technical Lead, or a related role.
• At least 2 years of experience in object-oriented programming with Java, Spring, and MongoDB.
• Experience working in at least two AWS environments among EC2, Lambda, RDS, and Gateway.
• Proficiency in building and deploying applications using Jenkins, Git, and AWS.
• Skilled in designing and developing REST services adopting microservices architecture.
• Experience designing performance tests and tuning applications for scalability.
• Knowledge of relational database design and SQL development with MySQL.
• Experience developing products in agile environments using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• $175,000 to $197,690 per year
