Akkodis is seeking a
Developer for a
Contract with a client in
Plano, TX. The candidate will design and integrate cloud‑based solutions using AWS, Docker, and Kafka while driving Agile delivery, stakeholder coordination, and end‑to‑end application performance.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer Job Responsibilities Include
- Design, develop, and integrate Java‑based Spring Boot microservices with strong focus on scalability, performance, and cloud readiness.
- Build and deploy applications on AWS using EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines while ensuring smooth operations and service reliability.
- Implement and manage data integrations using Kafka, NoSQL (MongoDB), relational databases (PostgreSQL/Aurora), and API platforms like MuleSoft.
- Lead technical delivery across cross‑functional teams, coordinating with UI and backend developers, enforcing Agile processes, and driving high‑quality engineering practices.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure secure, stable, and optimized applications (including OAuth/SSO).
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define architecture, design customer journeys, establish data models, and support long‑term program goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10–12 years of hands‑on experience in Java, Spring Boot microservices, and cloud‑native application development.
- Ability to design customer journeys, define associated data models, and work effectively with Marketing Cloud tools such as Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio.
- Strong architectural understanding with the ability to explain solutions, work with APIs/configurations, and partner with stakeholders to drive Agile processes, mitigate risks, and support large multi‑year program deliverables.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
