The Role
• Provide end-to-end technical leadership and architecture for Android applications, aligning with enterprise standards and business objectives.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing Android solutions using modern architecture patterns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver enterprise mobile applications.
• Ensure the Android codebase is modular, reusable, testable, and scalable through best practices.
• Drive application performance optimization and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years building enterprise-scale native Android applications.
• Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin and strong experience with Java.
• Extensive experience with Jetpack Compose, Android Jetpack libraries, Coroutines, Flow, and Hilt/Dagger.
• Deep understanding of Android architecture and design patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, microservices, automated testing frameworks, and Agile practices.
