Position Description
You will serve as an Electronics Engineer in the Mission Systems Group, Avionics Engineering Department, Core Avionics Engineering Division, Navigation Systems Branch of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will perform work related to research, development, integration, test, acquisition, and life-cycle support of electronic systems.
- You will provide the aircrew with the situational awareness needed for safety-of-flight and interfacing with other aircraft, land-base systems, and shipboard systems.
- You will develop innovative or novel solutions for GPS denied environment for each mission profile.
- You will represent NAWCAD at Assured Positioning Navigation and Timing (APNT) events and working groups.
- You will conduct training for Core Avionics and Flight Test Engineering on Assured Positioning Navigation and Timing (APNT) topics.
- You will provide solutions to Assured Positioning Navigation and Timing engineering (APNT) topics.
