Software Engineer (Apache Solr) at BairesDev

As a Software Engineer specializing in Apache Solr, you will develop and manage high-performance search solutions. You will connect complex data requirements with efficient indexing and retrieval strategies, ensuring that users can find the information they need through advanced relevance scoring and faceted navigation.

What You'll Do:

- Design and configure Solr schemas to support complex data models and search requirements.

- Implement and tune relevance scoring algorithms and custom analyzers to improve search quality.

- Develop and optimize faceted navigation and filtering to enhance the user search experience.

- Manage and scale Solr clusters, including sharding and replication for high availability.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate search capabilities into large-scale applications.

What we are looking for:

- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on search technologies.

- Proven expertise in developing and optimizing search solutions using Apache Solr and Lucene.

- Hands-on experience configuring Solr schemas, relevance scoring, and faceted navigation.

- Strong background in building and maintaining large-scale search applications.

- Advanced proficiency in English.
