About The Role
The Program Manager coordinates complex initiatives across platform engineering, infrastructure, security, and product teams. The role turns technical priorities into executable plans, aligning dependencies across cloud services, APIs, data systems, and developer tooling.
This role matters because reliable delivery requires more than individual team execution. The Program Manager establishes operating rhythms, surfaces risks early, and drives programs from definition through launch, adoption, and measurable improvement in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional programs spanning cloud infrastructure, platform reliability, security, and developer experience from scope definition through delivery
- Build and maintain integrated project plans in tools such as Jira, Linear, or Asana, including milestones, dependencies, owners, and critical-path risks
- Run planning meetings, technical reviews, and executive readouts that translate engineering progress into clear decisions and actions
- Partner with engineering leads to track delivery metrics, incident follow-ups, service-level objectives, and operational readiness for production launches
- Standardize program documentation in Confluence, Notion, or equivalent tools, including requirements, decision logs, launch checklists, and postmortems
- Identify blockers across teams and vendors, escalate tradeoffs with clear options, and drive mitigation plans to closure
- Measure program outcomes using delivery predictability, roadmap progress, reliability, and adoption metrics; recommend process improvements based on the data
What We Are Looking For
- 3-8 years of program, project, technical operations, or engineering operations experience in a technology environment
- Experience managing cross-functional programs involving software engineering, infrastructure, security, data, or platform teams
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile planning, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and production release processes
- Hands-on experience with project tracking and documentation tools such as Jira, Linear, Asana, Confluence, or Notion
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to create concise status reports and influence technical stakeholders without direct authority
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; familiarity with Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability platforms, SQL, and program management certifications such as PMP or PgMP
