Job Description:
Material Support / Logistics Associate
Pay: $17-$18 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
Location: DuBois, PA
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable
Material Support / Logistics Associate to support purchasing, material storage, inventory, shipping, receiving, and equipment coordination. This position works closely with production, customer service, vendors, and other locations to ensure materials and orders are handled accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments; enter receipts into the system
- Operate pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts
- Prepare daily shipping orders and close orders in SAP
- Process, code, and upload freight invoices
- Support inventory counts and production planning
- Prepare export, international, and hazardous-material documentation
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments
- Handle freight claims and assist with resolutions
- Coordinate preventative maintenance for equipment
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, receiving, freight, or a related role
- Forklift experience preferred
- SAP or other ERP experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and across departments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
Physical Requirements
This role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Work may occur indoors or outdoors, including exposure to varying temperatures, dust, dirt, noise, and concrete surfaces.
Steel-toed boots are required and provided by the site. Safety glasses and other required PPE are also provided. The site will provide forklift recertification as needed.
