Founding Full-Stack Engineer (NYC – Hybrid)

Our hiring partner is a pioneering cybersecurity startup that recently secured Series A funding, and are on a mission is to eliminate systemic risks in critical infrastructure—from energy grids to space systems—by transforming how software is hardened at scale. Today’s software supply chains produce uniform binaries, creating a single point of failure for entire fleets. We break this vulnerability by engineering intelligent variability directly into the compilation process. Our technology disrupts attacker economics and massively increases exploitation costs, ensuring resilience for large-scale deployments.

To achieve this, we orchestrate thousands of parallel compiler runs across distributed systems. We’re now building our greenfield backend platform from scratch—scaling build orchestration, secure artifact distribution, and performance analytics. Your Impact

As a Founding Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll shape our customer-facing portal, internal tools, and backend services. You’ll collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to turn complex workflows into intuitive, secure experiences. Your code will empower enterprises to manage diversified builds, analyze security metrics, and safeguard critical systems worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive web apps (React, Next.js, TypeScript) for developers and enterprise users.
• Design & optimize APIs and backend services (Node.js, PostgreSQL).
• Expose infrastructure pipelines (build orchestration, artifact distribution) via UI/APIs.
• Ship end-to-end features across the stack, from dashboards to access controls.
• Embed security and usability into customer tools and internal platforms.
• Co-define architecture and drive technical decisions in early-stage development.

Required Expertise

• 3+ years as a full-stack engineer shipping production systems.
• Frontend mastery: React, Next.js, TypeScript.
• Backend fluency: Node.js, PostgreSQL, REST/GraphQL API design.
• Core understanding: Web architecture, auth (OAuth/SAML), CI/CD, and testing.
• Startup mindset: Thrives in ambiguity, owns outcomes, and iterates rapidly.

Nice-to-Haves

• AWS, Docker, Terraform, or Kubernetes experience.
• Exposure to compilers (LLVM), embedded systems, or low-level toolchains.
• Background in security engineering, multi-tenant SaaS, or B2B developer tools.
• Passion for securing critical infrastructure (robotics, energy, transportation, edge).
