For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Software Development Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This role will guide a software engineering team responsible for building and improving the systems that support clinical content operations. The manager will shape technical direction, partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure the team delivers scalable, reliable tools that support business and operational needs. This position blends hands-on technical leadership with people management in a healthcare environment where accuracy, quality, and process discipline are essential.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $140,000 – $200,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of software engineers
- Own the technical roadmap for clinical content systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements
- Drive the design and delivery of clinical content tools
- Maintain systems managing the clinical content lifecycle
- Establish and uphold engineering standards and best practices
- Manage team capacity and career development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years in a technical leadership role
- 2+ years managing software engineering teams
- 5+ years with Python, relational databases, and cloud platforms
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
