For our client, we are seeking a Principal Software Engineer, Program Structure to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.
This role will focus on solving complex engineering challenges that span multiple teams and require clear technical direction. You will help shape new product functionality and core infrastructure while balancing business priorities with long-term technical sustainability. In close partnership with engineering leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, you will influence decisions that support scalable execution and a strong engineering culture.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Identify and solve complex, high-impact engineering problems across multiple teams
- Set the technical direction for engineering initiatives
- Design and develop new product functionality and infrastructure
- Address ambiguous, long-term challenges in the engineering domain
- Make decisions that balance business priorities and technical sustainability
- Act as a mentor and culture advocate within the engineering team
Qualifications
- 5-7 years in technical leadership roles regarding complex projects
- Experience with cross-functional stakeholder communication
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead engineering teams
- Familiar with customer-focused decision-making
- Experience in both startup and large-scale environments
- Interest or experience in security field
