Role Overview: An Outpatient Therapist providing individual, group, and family therapy to address psychological, emotional, and substance abuse issues. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, actively participates in treatment planning, and communicates effectively with clients, families, and referral sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct therapy sessions and develop treatment plans
- Provide family counseling to ensure family involvement
- Maintain active communication with clients, families, and healthcare team members
- Coordinate with physicians, nursing staff, and utilization review teams regarding treatment and length of stay
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling
- Current state licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or appropriate Associate License
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days; ACLS and PALS within six months
- Preferred: One year of experience and ASLS certification
