For our client, we are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.
This role will lead the planning and execution of complex technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and with clear accountability across stakeholders. The position partners closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into actionable plans, manage scope, and keep work moving against critical timelines. Success in this role will depend on proactive risk management, strong communication, and the ability to drive decisions and resolution in a highly technical, mission-focused environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $108,418 – $149,075 annually
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and complete technical projects on time and within budget
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements
- Coordinate project teams and monitor progress against timelines
- Conduct regular project status updates and meetings
- Manage changes to project scope and identify issues proactively
- Escalate risks and issues to senior management
- Document outcomes and conduct lessons learned sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
- 3+ years hands-on experience as a software engineer
- PMP Certification or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in product and program management
- Agile and Six Sigma certifications preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
