Job Title: Senior Java Developer (Banking Domain)

We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Java Developer with strong experience in the
banking/financial services domain to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java-based technologies and a solid understanding of banking systems such as payments, lending, or core banking platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications
- Build and enhance microservices-based architectures using modern frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions aligned with banking workflows
- Develop and integrate APIs for payment systems, transaction processing, and financial services platforms
- Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and production issues
- Contribute to architecture decisions and best practices
Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience
- Strong expertise in:
- Java (8/11/17+), Spring Boot, Spring Framework
- RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Mandatory experience in Banking domain
- (e.g., payments, core banking, lending, cards, trade finance)
- Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices
