About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack - Shopping, to join our remote team. In this role, you will lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects, overseeing a team of experienced developers. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and innovative cloud-based solutions that enhance the shopping experience for millions of users. You will collaborate closely with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that aligns with regulatory requirements and business objectives. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience does not qualify)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- Preferred: Master's Degree in a relevant discipline
- 7+ years of experience in programming languages including JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Node.js, or Go
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- 4+ years of experience working with open-source frameworks
- 1+ years of experience in people management and team leadership
- 2+ years of experience practicing Agile methodologies
- Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate development productivity
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee a portfolio of complex technology projects, managing a team of skilled developers
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and full-stack systems to meet business and regulatory needs
- Stay current with emerging technology trends, experimenting with new tools and frameworks to enhance project outcomes
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
- Collaborate with digital product managers and stakeholders to deliver impactful cloud-based solutions
- Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go to develop robust applications
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using services like Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools
