Acarin Inc is seeking a skilled Information Security Analyst to join our IT consulting team in Columbia, Maryland. This role focuses on cloud security within DoD and Azure Government environments, requiring expertise in compliance frameworks and classified systems. The successful candidate will contribute to critical security initiatives while working in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

• Design and implement security controls for Azure Government and DoD cloud environments

• Ensure compliance with DoD SRG, FedRAMP High, JSIG, and ICD 503 frameworks

• Manage IL6 data handling procedures and maintain security protocols for classified enclaves

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform

• Create automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash to enhance security operations

• Configure and optimize Azure-native security tools and cloud networking components

• Support enclave-to-enclave connectivity projects and hardened image deployments

• Collaborate with architecture teams to integrate security best practices into systems design

• Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to security sprint planning

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Security or related field

• Active Secret security clearance

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Azure Government or DoD environments

• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+, CISSP, or CISM)

• U.S. Citizenship required

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬

• Strong knowledge of Azure-native security tools and cloud networking

• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)

• Deep understanding of DoD SRG, FedRAMP High, JSIG, and ICD 503 compliance frameworks

• Hands-on experience with classified enclaves and hardened images

• Knowledge of IL6 data handling requirements

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Understanding of Agile software development processes

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

• Master's degree in Information Security or equivalent professional experience

• Additional security certifications beyond DoD 8570 requirements

• Experience with enclave-to-enclave connectivity solutions

• Comprehensive knowledge of corporate Systems/Solutions Architecture processes

• Previous consulting or client-facing experience
