For our client, we are seeking a Manager Devops & Cloud Platform to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a regulated financial services environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $161,000 – $220,440 annually
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps/cloud engineers
- Foster collaboration and continuous learning culture
- Oversee CI/CD standardization for Java,.NET, and Node.js
- Drive adoption of the Internal Developer Portal
- Guide infrastructure as code standards using Terraform
- Implement DevSecOps practices in pipelines
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for automation tools
Qualifications
- 8+ years in DevOps, cloud, or platform engineering
- 2+ years in a leadership role managing teams
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools like Harness and Jenkins
- Extensive experience in Terraform and infrastructure as code
- Hands-on architecture and operations experience with AWS and Azure
- Familiarity with programming languages: Java, Node.js, Python, Unix shell
- Proficient in Kubernetes and container technologies
