Associate Software Engineer (AI Engineer)
Location: Dallas, TX
Job Summary: Supports the development, deployment, and operation of AI/ML-powered systems in a cloud-native environment, focusing on operationalizing modern AI systems through software engineering, automation, observability, and lifecycle management.
- Modifies software to address issues.
- Develops small enhancements.
- Participates in testing and validation.
- Contributes to AI platform reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0–3 years of professional experience.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with LLM prompt engineering.
- Understanding of CI/CD and infrastructure automation concepts.
- Experience with version control and collaborative development practices.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience working with MCP servers.
- Experience building Agent-to-Agent workflows.
- Exposure to deploying or operating LLMs.
- Familiarity with ML Ops practices.
- Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of observability and reliability best practices.
Compensation
Dallas, TX (United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI): $80,000 - $120,000 USD / Annual
