2. About the Opportunity: The Software Engineer will design and build high-performance pharmacy digital microproduct experiences. This role focuses on developing scalable GraphQL and RESTful APIs and backend microservices to enable seamless, customer-centric digital interactions. The position leverages AI tools to enhance engineering efficiency and works within an Agile environment to deliver modern healthcare software.
3. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable GraphQL and RESTful APIs and microservices for pharmacy digital applications
- Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows and automate tasks
- Evaluate emerging trends to guide solution design and API architecture
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and technical teams to deliver resilient pharmacy user experiences
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code adhering to engineering standards and security protocols
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure system reliability and performance
- Troubleshoot and optimize API query performance and backend integrations in cloud environments
- Support Agile practices including sprint planning, estimation, standups, and retrospectives
4. Requirements:
- 2+ years of software development experience with backend languages such as Node.js, TypeScript, Java, or Python
- 1+ years of professional experience across the full software development lifecycle
- 1+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining GraphQL and/or RESTful APIs
- 1+ years of experience with microservice architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Preferred: Experience using developer productivity tools and AI coding assistants
- Preferred: Experience building digital microproducts or pharmacy/healthcare e-commerce platforms
- Preferred: Experience with both GraphQL federation/schema stitching and RESTful API patterns
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- The salary for this role ranges from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment
- Pay is based on factors such as local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications
- Additional benefits include comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contributions, subject to eligibility
