A world-leading software company is seeking a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer to design, build, and maintain robust full-stack web applications for their diverse clientele. You will play a pivotal role in leading backend logic development, managing central databases, and ensuring optimal performance across all user-facing services.
The Role
- Design, build, and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable Ruby code.
- Construct secure, RESTful APIs for frontend consumption and third-party integrations.
- Optimize database schemas, query performance, and data modeling using ActiveRecord.
- Implement automated unit and integration test suites using RSpec, Capybara, or FactoryBot.
- Identify and fix bottlenecks, memory leaks, and application performance errors.
- Set up background job processing queues using Sidekiq or Resque.
What You'll Need
- 10+ years of professional experience exclusively with the Ruby on Rails ecosystem.
- Strong proficiency in relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL using SQL.
- Functional understanding of HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript, and asset compilation.
- Mastery of MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture patterns and Object-Oriented Design.
- Prior experience using standard Rails gems like Devise, Pundit, and Webpacker.
