About Our Client:
Our client, Rosnet, is a growing software company providing technology solutions for the restaurant industry. They are looking for an experienced accounting leader to take ownership of the company’s accounting operations, improve financial processes, and support the transition as the current Controller prepares for retirement.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Controller to oversee the company’s accounting operations, financial processes, and reporting activities. This role will work closely with the current Controller during a transition period to gain deep knowledge of the business, improve systems and processes, and eventually take full ownership of the accounting function.
This role is ideal for a highly experienced accounting professional who has managed the full accounting cycle, understands SaaS/software environments, and can independently drive process improvements while partnering with company leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Own all accounting operations, including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, payroll, and financial reporting
- Manage and improve accounting processes, workflows, and systems
- Partner with the current Controller during the transition period to ensure a smooth knowledge transfer
- Support the implementation and optimization of new accounting systems and processes
- Oversee month-end close activities and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Manage audit processes and ensure compliance with US GAAP standards
- Monitor financial data accuracy and operational finance activities
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to leadership
- Collaborate with external advisors, partners, and stakeholders when needed
- Help build and structure the future accounting team, including potential hiring of junior accounting resources
What We're Looking For:
- 8+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or related roles, with strong Controller or Senior Accountant-level experience
- Proven experience owning accounting operations, including AP, AR, billing, payroll, and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience supporting US-based companies
- Experience leading or owning audit processes
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Intacct, NetSuite, or similar platforms
- Experience with SaaS/software business models is highly preferred
- Experience with billing platforms such as Maxio is a strong plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive improvements
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
