The Role
• Develop and maintain software for aircraft runway and terminal congestion management.
• Contribute to the Federal Aviation Administration’s Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM) program, enhancing air traffic control capabilities.
• Perform software development, system engineering support, and design user interface frameworks.
• Work within an Agile Scrum environment to deliver efficient air traffic solutions.
• Maintain air traffic control display software primarily using C++/Java on UNIX/Linux platforms.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree.
• Proficiency in object-oriented design and development using C++ and Java.
• Experience with version control tools like Git, Subversion, or CVS.
• Familiarity with UNIX and Linux operating systems.
• Experience following a documented Software Development Process.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance and FAA Suitability.
