Akkodis is seeking a
Java Tech Lead for a
Contract with a client in
Columbus, OH. This position includes leading CI/CD automation initiatives and optimizing complex SQL queries across enterprise applications.
Rate Range: $40/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Java Tech Lead Job Responsibilities Include
- Lead the design and development of enterprise‑grade applications using advanced Java concepts and the Spring Framework.
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of complex SQL queries to support high‑performance backend systems.
- Drive end‑to‑end CI/CD automation using modern DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions and Harness NextGen.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards, testing practices, and best‑in‑class architecture.
- Utilize mocking frameworks like Mockito or JMock to support robust unit testing and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate solutions and, where applicable, support Guidewire PC‑related development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in advanced Java development, Spring Framework, and modern DevOps practices.
- Proven expertise in designing and leading development initiatives using advanced Java concepts, Spring modules, and complex SQL optimization.
- Strong experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, Harness NextGen, and familiarity with mocking frameworks (Mockito, JMock).

Pay Details: $40.00 to $41.00 per hour
