Akkodis is seeking a
Developer for a
Contract with a client in
Auburn Hills, MI. Candidate must have strong capability in gathering business requirements and delivering SQL‑driven solutions while collaborating effectively with onshore and offshore teams.
Rate Range: $37/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer Job Responsibilities Include
- Gathering business requirements and translating them into effective SQL‑based solutions in collaboration with onshore and offshore teams.
- Developing and supporting enhancements, production fixes, and business requests using SQL, Unix, and campaign‑related workflows.
- Handling ad‑hoc tasks and coordinating with application teams to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
- Participating in status meetings and contributing to all Agile Scrum ceremonies as part of the core delivery team.
- Collaborating with business partners to validate requirements, clarify technical needs, and ensure accurate solution implementation.
- Coordinating with offshore teams for code review, delivery alignment, and smooth execution of development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of experience, including a minimum of 3–5 years of hands‑on SQL work as specified.
- Candidate must have strong capability in SQL/DB2 development, Unix scripting, and supporting business‑driven technical requests.
- Candidate must have the ability to work directly with business partners, participate in Agile Scrum events, and coordinate effectively with offshore teams.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $41.00 per hour
