The Role
• Support Navy application development with a focus on Agile software development practices.
• Develop and design new web applications using Java, Clojure, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML5.
• Utilize industry trending technologies such as React and functional programming.
• Work collaboratively with other engineers to determine the best technical design and approach for new product development.
• Assist the Battlespace Awareness and Information domain, supporting frontline warfighters.
• Employ Agile Scrum methodology for software development to meet customer needs.
What You'll Need
• Active DoD Secret security clearance and US citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 4-12+ years of experience.
• Experience with functional programming languages (e.g., Clojure, Haskell, Lisp).
• Proficiency in SQL programming and relational database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Strong skills in Java, JavaScript, HTML5, and experience with web application technologies and RESTful web services.
• Proficiency with React/Redux and Node.js.
