About the Role:

Job Title: Java Developer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our engineering team and help design, build, and scale modern backend services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs for enterprise applications
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
• Develop and maintain integrations with messaging systems such as Kafka
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, DevOps, and architecture
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring reliability and system stability
• Contribute to performance optimization and system scalability initiatives

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong backend development experience using Java (Core Java, Java 11/17/21+)
• Expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture
• Solid understanding of multithreading, data structures, design patterns, and performance tuning
• Experience working with Oracle and MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or other message brokers
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments
• Experience with cloud-native development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform
• Exposure to private cloud or hybrid cloud environments
• Experience building high-availability distributed systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Salary and Other Compensation:The annual [salary/hourly rate] for this position is between [$140,000-150,000 annually]/[$80.00-85.00 per hour]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
