Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data and Cloud Solutions Architect to design and optimize scalable cloud-based data architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong data engineering experience, Azure cloud expertise, and distributed computing knowledge. This role requires hands-on implementation as well as the ability to create clear architecture diagrams and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement cloud-based data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses
Develop scalable Azure-based data architecture solutions
Work with distributed computing frameworks such as Spark, MapReduce, and Databricks
Create data flow diagrams, ER diagrams, and system architecture diagrams
Optimize performance of cloud data systems and pipelines
Troubleshoot issues related to data quality, accessibility, and performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (Engineering only)
5+ years of data engineering experience
Hands-on experience with Azure cloud data solutions
Experience with Spark / MapReduce / Databricks
Strong data modeling expertise
Experience with relational and non-relational databases
Strong diagramming skills (Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools)
