About The Role
The Program Manager oversees large-scale, cross-functional technical programs from inception through delivery. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between product management, engineering, and business operations, ensuring that complex initiatives remain aligned with strategic company objectives.
The role is responsible for driving the execution of infrastructure development and software release cycles. Working in a fully remote capacity, the program manager will manage risk, streamline communication, and clear roadblocks across multiple engineering and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end execution of complex, technical programs, managing dependency mapping and resource allocation across multiple engineering tracks.
- Establish program governance structures, holding cross-functional teams accountable to delivery milestones through Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical and operational risks, escalating issues with proposed mitigation paths to leadership.
- Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate program health and velocity.
- Facilitate critical program ceremonies, including sprint planning, roadmap reviews, and post-mortem analyses.
- Optimize internal delivery processes and agile workflows to increase team throughput and reduce time-to-market.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management within a fast-paced technology environment.
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder technical initiatives from concept to deployment.
- Deep familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and expert-level proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and project portfolio management (PPM) tools.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and use metrics to drive operational decision-making.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bonus: PMP or PMI-ACP certification; experience working in cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) environments.
