About The Role
Peraton seeks a
Full Stack Developer/Software Engineer to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support. Location: Fort Meade, MD. In this role, you will design and implement data infrastructure, pipelines, and integration solutions to support DCDC analytic capabilities within Caspian and JCRS-D environments. In addition, you will operate as part of an Analytic Development Team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingestion and transformation
- Implement data integration solutions for multiple source types
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Support streaming data architectures (Kafka, Flink)
- Collaborate with data scientists on data preparation
- Document data lineage and metadata
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala
- Experience with Spark, Kafka, and Hadoop ecosystem
- Knowledge of data modeling and warehousing
- Understanding of streaming architectures
- Experience with cloud data services
- U.S Citizenship required
- DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud platform certifications preferred
- 8 years of specific experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field

Details
Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
