For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer API SDK to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $293,000 – $385,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Define and implement experience for new API features and versions
- Build and maintain automated systems for SDK maintenance
- Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap for SDKs
- Collaborate with API, Developer Experience, and GTM teams
- Directly assist developers with features, issue resolution, and documentation
Qualifications
- 7+ years of engineering experience in tech/product-focused environments
- Passion for creating tools for developers and incorporating user feedback
- Experience in open source community engagement
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-paced settings
- Background in SDK maintenance or generation
