A growing real estate investment company is seeking a Controller to join their team in Salem, NH. This position will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvements across multiple entities.
$45–$58/hr
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote).
Job Description
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, and compliance across multiple entities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling initiatives
- Manage consolidations, intercompany transactions, and cash flow oversight
- Develop and improve financial policies, controls, and accounting processes
- Supervise accounting staff and coordinate with external CPA, tax, and audit partners
- Provide financial analysis and support strategic planning initiatives
Job Requirements
- Previous Controller or similar accounting leadership experience
- Real estate industry experience required
- Experience managing multi-entity accounting and consolidations
- Ability to work independently and improve accounting processes
- Experience with AppFolio preferred
- Strong Excel skills required
