For our client, we are seeking a Technical Program Manager Cloud Inference to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Pharmaceuticals & Biotech environment.
Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $290,000 – $435,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering leaders to define and scope major technical initiatives for cloud partnerships
- Own launch readiness for AI models, managing checklists and blocker tracking
- Act as the primary technical interface to cloud partner engineering teams for deployment and incidents
- Drive cross-functional alignment across internal teams to achieve joint deliverables
- Provide clear reporting on program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in technical program management, particularly with cloud platforms and AI technologies
- Strong understanding of cloud computing architectures and deployment challenges in AI/ML
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to influence without authority
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance strategic priorities with high-quality execution
- Experience thriving in fast-paced, scaling environments, bringing order to chaos
