The Role
- Provide continuous development and continuous integration, including operational engineering and integration, release management, implementation & migration, and training & knowledge transfer.
- Design, build, and maintain capabilities utilizing current Amazon C2S enabled architecture and tools (Ansible, CloudFormation, EC2, ELB, RDS, Lambda, S3, Terraform, containerization).
- Configure and manage core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, KMS, and Config.
- Operate and improve reliability/availability through monitoring, alerting, incident response, and continual service improvement.
- Automate system deployments and operational tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Develop and engineer improvements to the cloud infrastructure and architecture to support continuous development and continuous integration utilizing modern practices and tools.
What You'll Need
- Current TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly.
- BA/BS and 8-12 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud services, reinforced with architectural design experience.
- 4+ years of extensive experience in AWS Cloud Technologies and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
- 4+ years of experience in implementing Amazon C2S enabled architectures and tools (Ansible, CloudFormations, Terraform, JMETER, EC2, ELB, RDS, Lambda, Docker, GIT, and S3).
- 4+ years of experience in building end-to-end solutions on AWS leveraging Object Oriented Programming (OOP) (Python, Ruby, Java, PHP) and AWS SDK.
