$18 + $1 Shift Premium
General Responsibilities:
Perform part inspection per written control plan, including visual checks and variable & attribute gaging.
Quality Responsibilities:
- Support group on quality and process issues (consensus decision-making).
- Use various measuring equipment to measure parts, such as; micrometers, calipers, gage pins, height gage, and micro-vu.
- Input SPC/SQC data and take corrective action on any points out of control.
- Input In-process inspection results into computer.
- Input SPC/SQC data in computer per control plan.
- Initiate and document corrective action on any points out of control.
- Perform final inspection and initiate & document corrective action on any part nonconformance's.
- Follow all company procedures and work instructions.
- Assure that housekeeping is maintained at an acceptable level.
- Participate in the continuous improvement program with team members to resolve issues that are blocking productivity gains.
- Include description, timing and responsibility.
2-3 years experience as an operator in a plastics environment, 1 year experience as a Quality Tech, knowledge of and ability to use SPC/SQC, Good communication and organizational skills, reliable attendance
