Role: Google Cloud Platform Python Consultant
Location Jersey City, NJ or Delaware

Rate: $50-$65/hr
Role summary: Design and deliver secure, scalable networking for onboarded applications, including segmentation and hybrid connectivity patterns.
Key responsibilities:
- Build/operate VPC/Shared VPC, subnets, routes, firewall policies, DNS patterns
- Define ingress/egress architecture, NAT, load balancing patterns, private access
- Support hybrid connectivity concepts (VPN/Interconnect), routing, and troubleshooting
- Deliver network changes safely via Terraform modules and staged rollouts
Mandatory skills/experience:
- Google Cloud Platform networking fundamentals + secure segmentation/egress control patterns
- Terraform-based network provisioning; change safety/blast-radius management
- Troubleshooting using logs/flow data and systematic triage
- Nice-to-have: Centralized firewall governance; service perimeter concepts; WAF patterns
Success measures: High connectivity reliability, low security exceptions, quick incident resolution.
